Question for 77 cruiser

I spent a couple years & couple of rebuilds before I finally got mine (a code OG BTW) to where I wanted it.

Mr. 77 Cruiser,
Any chance you could enlighten me on your trials with your OG model trans? I am looking to start a build up on a formerly non performance trans, and could use a tip or two regarding the governor weights, or any other tips you may have. It is going behind a 388 SBC.

Rebuit it the last time with Alto reds wide band & 200c servo from CK perf new pump from CK restalled D5 from CK it stall to 2900 with my combo. I haven't upgraded the forward drum yet.

I never weighed em though.

I haven't tried thr GN gov. yet.
