My local Sunoco is once again carrying Turbo Blue 110 - yay!

When I went there at the beginning of the month I was scared because that pump (same spot) said "Kerosene". Attendant said they would be carrying 110 by mid month.

So....they have the 110 and the pump now is labeled as "Race gas"...but is in the same spot.

Is the tank holding the 110 the same tank as the kerosene was in? I ask as I doubt they got all the kerosene out before putting the 110 in.

Anyone know how that works?

Will

I have seen how that works first hand! Its called blown head gaskets. Stay away from that pump for a bit until the kerosene gets flushed out. Good luck!;)

Would the gas and kerosene mix or would one be on top and thus last to be pumped out?

My car has stock turbo/injectors but I run 20lbs of boost. I mix the 110 with 93 for added protection but mostly the smell of the race gas....ahhhh... :-)

A co-worker said "I bet they clean out the kerosene tank" but I don't see how unless a trained monkey gets lowered into the tank with a sponge.

i would just forget about getting race gas from there any more. like breakin it said he would wait till it was flushed and then refilled. how much race fuel do you think they really sell? enough to really get it back to pure fuel? i would at least contact the owner and see if it was solvent cleaned before they changed it back to race gas. get it in writing, so if something happens and it comes down to tainted fuel being the culprit, you might be able to hold them liable. blown motors aren't cheap to fix

Yup, you're here on the message boards asking the wrong people. Ask someone who works there if it was cleaned first.
