Question for the guys with the heat only firewall box installed

I am planning to convert my car over to the aftermarket AC this winter and I was thinking of using a heat only firewall box for the install. Does the heat only box offer enough room to pull a head with head studs if needed? I know I can use one of the flat plates and get that clearance, but I like the look of the non AC box.

you can pull head with a/c box, just remove the studs first
