i have some trunk rpo's that i have acquired from some parts car's i have had... "turbo rpo's" and i even bought an rpo from my buddy's car he sold it to me since he parted his car... would it be illegal to start a business to remake rpo stickers?? im intrested in starting this to have it available for people to be able to replace lost or replaced trunks without rpo's? i have to invest in the same paper material and printing material... its not cheap...so please feel free to post your opinion... illegal or legal to do this? since it deals with vins i would think its very sensitive.... dont want to end up sued or in jail...who can i speak to about this..?

If they find out, they will shut you down. It's happened before...sorry.

the trunk label isn't anything gm ever sold, if I recall correctly. and there is no gm logo or anything like that on it? (can't remember)
how could that be illegal?
I remember Russ was doing some of the labels specific to these buicks that no one else had available, till some mother effing douchebag must've turned him in

I think I recall someone doing repros of the door jam stickers for 60's-80's GM vehicles at one point in time. Again, if I remember correctly, the GM lawyers caught wind of it and issued a "cease and desist" order which is i nice way of them saying, "stop doing this or we'll sue your A$$"

autolabels .com we have used them before at work. not sure what it takes for you to do it
