can you modifiy a hot air engine with 86-87 stuff? for instance, put the intercooler,turbo,headers,wire harness etc. to make it a intercooled engine?
just wondering since it seems you can pick up an 85 for alittle cheaper, and i know someone who will be selling theirs soon. thanks for the info

Yes, you can do it but you're better off finding a cheap or blown up IC motor. Everything from the heads up is different including the front accessories. I watched my dad do it piece by piece and you wouldn't believe how many parts had to be changed out. From the heads down they're more or less the same.
