Questions about mt engine(1987) swap into my jeep. Thanks

I need information about engine tilt front to back? I have the engine setting in the frame and turbo 400 trans hooked up to a novak adapter for the dana 300 tranfer case. The transmission is level at the pan surface but I was wondering is the angle of the motor normal and is it safe to weld in the motor mounts at roughly 2-5 degrees?
