I purchased the Thrasher 92 chip not knowing that you must have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator also.
Has anyone installed a thrasher without having an adjustable regulator?
Is it safe or is the Adjustable regulator a MUST if you wanna drive with the thrasher?? I cant wait to put it in, but I cant afford the $100+ for the AFPR!

The thrasher works best at 45psi but you can still use it. BTW, I have a AFPR billit top you can have for $50

Mine worked fine with the TTA "237" regulator.

The stock one, the last 3 numbers are "233". The TTA's had the "237" which bumped the pressure a little bit. Do yourself a favor and buy an adjustable one now. Buy once, save later.

P.S. Buy TTAmeasap's, I spent $100 for mine. :)

The Billit Top AFPR will work in my GN??
As long as it'll do the job and let me run the boost I want then I guess I'll take it.

definitley get a regulator, its an essential mod.... in the meantime, you can run your thrasher chip, just stay out of boost in high gear (dont floor it, you may go lean & hurt the motor)BTW,i dont see a fuel pump in your list of mods, do that too;)
