I just put in a Wal340. I don't have it hot wired yet, but am planning to do it this weekend. (already got it from Racetronix)
I haven't checked the stock wires voltage to the new pump yet. If the new pump is not getting the correct amount of voltage now, will putting on the hot wire kit on make the fuel pressure rise? Just by hot wiring it? Right now it's at 47lbs line off. Will this fuel pressure increase? I've been able to turn the boost to 23lbs w/ no knock on Casper's guage or on T.L. (110 leaded) Thanks, Dave This thing flies!:D

The regulator sets the pressure....you should be able to deliver more volume at a given pressure, however, if the demand is there.

On some vehicles people have noticed a very small increase in fuel pressure (apx 1-2 PSIA) after installing the harness.
Some regulators exhibit more stability with an increase in fuel volume than others. If you have an Accufab or similar type regulator then chances are you will not see a change.
Either way you should install the harness ASAP as it only stands to benefit your car.
