Does anyone see an issue with putting a 275 / 35 / 18 on an 18" x 8" rim? I'm just seeing that the recommended rim width is 9" - 11" and have been cautioned by the tire dealer.
I would use a 275 / 40 / 18 with a bit more sidewall height if it would help, but it's not available in the Hankook K104 Sport I want to get.
Thanks for any info!

Eh... it's never ideal to not follow the recommended rim width for a given tire, but it will work. Some Buick guys cram 275s onto the stock 7" wide wheels.
