Race finally happen 87GN vs 99 cobra.

32VHEMIJR, Toss those gears, put in 3.73s or 4.10s, a V2 S-trim or Novi 2000 @ 8-10 psi, Drag radials & that won't happen again unless it's a seriously modded GN. It's a 1/2 day install from beginning to ripping the streets.

The 4.56's are the perfect gear for an N/A cobra. Ask anyone on the stang boards. Ive had 3.27's, 3.73's, 4.10's and now these. Nothing compares. Ive done everything to get the power to the ground, but the most important...TIRES. I used to have a Novi 1000 with paxton IC and a bunch of other crap. It put down 483rwhp with 14 degrees timing, pump gas, and about 11.5 psi. I had to sell it cause I owed taxes and had no other way to come up with the cash. Car sure was a monster though

I agree n/a they are the right gear. With the Novi though, you definitely would not have lost. You would have had enough trap speed to run him down even launching in 2nd to get some traction. Oh well, it's history now. Stick some ET streets out back.

first of dude don't be mad at what i'm going to say. your car runs fast, and hell we all lose races, i've spanked mustangs left and right and then again i've had my a$$ handed to me too, it's just for fun and i know we all wish if we lose, please let it be close

but to say that you were only 2 to 3 cars behind , i did a frame by frame and it's closer to 4 to 5 either way as fast as that gn was moving you were only a couple of seconds ( track time) behind. nice race either way, BE CAREFULL, WITH THE RACEING that car that was about to turn, was dangerous

I would have to agree with you totally on this point, we knew nothing of those cars that where about to turn onto the street we were racing, the camera man had to wave them to warn them about us racing and even then they knew nothing of it, that was very stupid and dangerous, I was also racing on a street I knew Nothing about, and this won't happen again..

Not mad at all. As the cars are approaching, it looks like Im only 3 or so cars behind. Then I hit my brakes ( i know for a fact i hit them early)..and the GN passes by...then a couple seconds later I pass. I was only that far behind at that point cause I hit the brakes and slowed way down before I passed the camera. No matter what, I lost. Just not really as bad as I originally thought.

I noticed the cross traffic in the video too. Very dangerous situation.

Be careful guys, and remember when someone at an intersection at night sees a pair of headlights in the distance they aren't expecting the closing speed to be at 100 mph!! Good kill Wiked.
