Yep.......In the wallet.

I usually buy three sets of universal V8 wire sets (straight boots) and build a fourth set for "free". Hardly pays for the time needed fab them up, but it helps guys out. I've used the Accel 8.8 racing wires for years. Agreed that the cheap wires will do the job, though. Most folks like the look of higher quality wires, though. So that's what they get. A few years ago some folks tried to steal my sons Toyota pick-up. Failed because he was caught by my neighbor (cop) He did out run the neighbor though and wasn't caught. So my son always pulled his coil wire off after that. Two weeks later they cam back and stole it. Rolled it down the street and tried starting it. Nothing. Another neighbor saw them trying to start it and DIDN'T CALL THE COPS!! (glad THEY moved!!!) But they managed to get it running and three weeks later the truck was recovered. (in the next town north of us) We went to pick it up at the impound yard (at a cost of $250 to me

) I did a quick safety check before my son drove it home and there was a piece of Romex household wire for the coil wire. BUT....................There was a brand NEW clutch master cylinder bolted to the fire wall. Apparently the Romex worked well enough that they didn't buy a new coil wire, but bought a new master cylinder.

. So now I run Romex wires for HIGH power applications. Looks BADAZZ, too!!! Nothing like square, white spark plug wires. THey last three times as long, too. Once you burn through one strand, you have two more to hook up.

Kinda confusing, though..........White wire? Green wire?...Black wire????? Which one goes where??
