Hey Guys,
I have read several posts on different options for radiators to fit my 85 GN.All have been well researched by the posters. I have the larger of the two offered from the factory. Has anyone had any dealing with the Champion Cooling aluminum P/N 162? Is the fit where I can use the existing factory hold down plate, fan, shroud, hoses, and lines? I have not really had any overheating issues, the original is gettting old and kind of leaky. Just looking at an upgrade instead of paying for recoring.

Thanks

Do a search here for the napa f-body radiator. They used to be 124.00 or so and the are a single row aluminum radiator with plastic tanks.

Alot of people run them, alot of my close friends run them and i have them in all of my cars.

The f-body radiator does not have the provision for the engine oil cooler, but i am not sure if the hot air engines have that anyway.

Let me know if you need help finding the modine radiator from napa

Second vote for the F body rad.

Top shelf. Keeps the car super cool and I ran a separate trans cooler anyway that I mounted with plastic ties to the F body rad.

Install was simple and I have dual Ramchargers fans on it as well. 160 degrees is as hot as it goes!

Do it.

Thanks for the help with the radiator question. Heading to the parts house now. Have a great day
