not sure what radiator is in my car its deff not stock because a stock upper hose dosent reach from the rad to the thermostat housing. from reading around here i know that the f body radiator is a popular replacement and was wondering how do i determine if thats what i have or not and if i do have one where can i purchase a hose that fits properly?
thanks for your help

Ok thanks. So where do I find radiator hoses for it?

For some reason I remember using the same hoses... But then again that was after I converted to IC... Heck, been so long I don't even remember if the upper rad hose was different HA to IC...

Def a F body rad though. Great rad.

EDIT: Looked at ur sig and saw you were also IC now. Should be the same hose...

you can get universal ones. they have a sping type thing in them you can bend it anyway you want.

I have a Hot Air with the FBody radiator and a NAPA 7899 fits just fine. I have not changed to the 86/87 setup though. Brad

i recall just ordering an upper hose for an 87 GN when i put the bigger Cutlass radiator (same size as the F body radiator) in my car.
or maybe it was a V6 powered full size rwd LeSabre..

Correct me if I am wrong, but the stock GN radiator hose should fit with no problem on the 86/87 cars with a F-Body radiator.

yes, i have a f body rad in my gn and it fit perfect with the stock upper hose. i got a new oem hose from the stealership so i can't vouch for the aftermarket ones. in the pic it looks to me like its a little different from the f body rad. the trans cooler fittings look different, but it's obviously a shiny new aftermarket replacement so who knows?

My car is no longer a hot air setup it has been converted to the intercooled setup. The radiator hose that I bought for it was for a 86-87 gn and it comes up about 3" short of reaching the upper connection of the rad when I hook it up to the thermostat housing. I will try another stock hose from a diff supplier but if I have the same prob what should I do?

Hose connection is in the same spot on the f-body rad as the stocker. Same hose as the stocker.
