is there a way to bleed the system i want to ensure there is no air pocket somewhere preventing the circulation of water

again thanks everyone for the help

drill a small hole at the 12 O'clock position in the fllat outer flanged area in the body of your thermostat . Can't recall the exact size (diameter hole) off the top of my head.
Suggest you do a search .

no, in your thermostat. that way the air can burp out of the very top of the intake manifolds water jacket.

yea ok is there a link or pictures or a guide that says where/how/what to drill?

so there is no Natural way to bleed the system?

Not with a vertical thermostat. Its not rocket science. Just grab it with some vice grips so you don't lose a finger and poke a 3/32" or so hole in it. Then install with the hole at 12:00.
