Ramchargers O2 Sensor???

I just received my O2 sensor from Ramchargers, but I have a question about the part #. The part they sent me has the GM # 25162600 (AC# AFS-81). Is this the right part? The GNttype website lists the part # as 25162693 (AC# AFS-20). Right when I saw the sensor it looked funny to me. It has the purple wire, but the base is longer. Anyone know what the story with this is?

o2 sensor

Hey Ben,

Just got back from the dealer, I had to buy one for my GN.

The only 2 part # they listed for a turbo Buick is :

GM # 25162693- AFS-20 for G body

GM # 25162753- AFS-22 for a GNX

The sensors looked alike, same purple single wire, same plug, and same base length. The only diff was a 20 stamped on the 25162693 and 22 stamped on 25162753.

The parts man said these are the most current o2 sensors. I bought the 25162753 sensor because he said it would cycle faster. It cost $1.00 more, $40.00 . Don't know about the p/n 25162600.

Still have no answer on what the hell sensor i just got. Is it the same, just as good, or not quite as good as a stock replacement? Somebody's got to know this.

The one we sell is shielded. Other than that it is the same and will work great. There are HUNDREDS out there we have sold
and never had a complaint.

I have a Ramchargers O2 (purple wire) and it works great. Put it in and forget about it
