Hard to tell from the pics, but as long as you don't have any holes or very thin metal, it shouldn't be too bad to fix... But, the term "too bad" is relative. Rust is a nightmare. The doors look like they will need to be pulled off to get to the lower a pillar rust...while your there the doors could be repaired, but with you living in the south, it shouldn't be out of the question to find a reasonable set of replacments. The real question is how extensive is it? Is it a t-top car? If so, check under the t-top weather stripping for more. I've seen solid southern cars with the windshield frame almost completely rotted out because of these seals leaking. I would go over it with a fine tooth comb and see how far it goes. If its all surface rust, I would still guess that the repairs will be at least a grand with the paint work. It is very easy to spend a ton of money repairing rust, just make sure you know how much and where it all is. Body repair techs get paid well, but after watching my car get stripped, repaired and painted, I know they earn it!

I agree with about a grand.

Bottoms of doors in the seams were $400 last quote I got to do it for my GN.

Weatherstrip will add a bit to the cost.

The prices seem to be about right. JUst had to do this my self.Only differenc was the area where the door attaches was cleaner. My doors whee better.

I would try to tell what I did. First fixing a door is costly. And may not get everything. I replaced my doors for 200 dollars. The mounting area, the doors would have to come off anyway. That seems fixable. At least what I can see.

Get 2 solid doors. Clean up the door jam. Look at the door sills. I think you will have a better job. And it wind up costing me less. Bodymen. Get a lot for labor. If they are good they should. Mine was a friend. It was his suggestion. Also went for a trunk. Only trying to help...........Merry Christmas

Thanks for the replies. Trying to figure out what next logical step would need to be taken.
