rattle noise when shifting -

ok -- i had a noise at 2500 rpms and i replaced all the lifters and noise is gone
at that rpm --- now there s a noise (rattle) when car shifts gears -- all lifter
that i removed looked good! im thinking possibly a rod bearing --help please

Check the torque converter bolts. Rod bearings could make a noise but it would probably be throughout the entire rpm range.

went for ridr --- noise is thru rpm range --- going to pull pan abd see what
bearings look like ---- hate to do it !!!!

Noise

Bringing this back from the dead....Did you ever find your noise? My car has a rattling noise around when it shifts...I am also chasing down a false knock that happens at high rpm near the shift points.
