Razor XFI question?

I'm installing the XFI and had a question. Being that I will disconnect the original wire going to the Map sensor will this have any effect on the operation of the PAC?

Connect PAC green wire to center pin on MAP. Easy. Doesnt matter if you mount the map on the roof of the car, all my box needs is signal from it.
