Re:12.5 Et Streets On 8.5 Wheels

i read earlier that 12.5 et streets will work with
8.5in drag lites 3.5 bs is this true an will it work with any
8.5in wheel with 3.5 bs ?
they seem to be to big for 8in wheel is this safe ?
i was told 12.5 et streets are for 10 in rims

I ran mine on an 8 inch wheel with no problems. It had a 3.5 inch b/s. My body was misaligned on my frame so I had to air up the bags a bit.
