Rear control arm suggestions......

I may be aquiring an 87 GN, and would like suggestions on rear control arms. This is mainly going to be a street car, but will see jonts down the quarter from time to time. I don't necessarily need double adjustable lowers and adjustable uppers, but I'm new to the G-body or even GM modding in general.

Any input would be nice.

Kind of pricey, but I love my Metco solid aluminum lower arms. Got rid of wheel hop, made the rear end much less wiggley during hard cornering. The rear feels much more solid. I ended up going with the Metcos, Konis, and ATR sway bar. It feels like a different car.

I'm just lookin' for a set of non-adjustable tubulars right now, any suggestions on one brand over another?

Box the stockers, then put a set of Johnny Joints on the chassis side with polyurethane on the axel side of all four arms.

Have heard alot of nice things about the UMI tubular lowers..I ordered a set for myself...$99.99 plus shipping...Should have them next day or so..I'll post up when they are in !

I bought my old GN back from a guy, and he's put on adjustable upper and lower control arms. I don't think they're adjusted, because I hear clunking on driveway lips and other bumps. I'm attaching a couple pics...anybody recognise the brand?

I've been under there and everything looks...pretty tight, but he installed them w/the body off the frame, and I suspect it was just put on without much thought to the pinion angle of fine tuning to the set up. I know nothing about how to adjust these things, but would definitely like to eliminate the clunking.

When I'm at the rear wheel, I can push on the side of the car rythmically to "wag the rear", and I can hear it making noise that way. Something is a little loose. You'll see in the pics that this set up has the ball (forget the exact term used for this type of joint) at each end.
