Rear disc setup.

Looking for a rear disc setup.

use a setup from an LS1 camaro/ta. Cheap and pretty much bolts up. You will have to do a little fab to make the parking brake work but alot of people just dont use them. I get a complete setup shipped from a guy on LS1tech forum for $150

Did you have to relocate your shock? Or buy special brackets?

I did this to my 69 Camaro and a couple chevelles. I had to use 2 of the same side on the camaro because the shocks mount 1 on each side of the axel housing. IIRC it was 2 pass side setups but dont quote me on that. The flanges on the end of the axel tubes on my 69 are the same as on the GN. I had to drill one bolt hole to make to use all 4 bolts in the backing plate on the LS1 setup and trim the flange a little to make the backing plate fit. The Chevelle needed no relocation. Just the extra hole drilled and flange trimmed. I plan on doin all 4 corners of my GN in the future. The front is a little more involves. Requires modding the spindle a little, machining an old rotor and fabbing a bracket. The bracket can also be purchased from a company called Kore 3. Hope this helps.

Slight differences but for the most part the same. Axle tube flanges from as early as the 60s to the early 90s were all very similar in design. Drum rears that is.
