Rear ends make my head itch

so if i went to the junk yard and pulled a posi out of a 3rd of 4th gen f body that was a 10 bolt. i could un bolt my factory carrier put that one in with new axles? as long as it was 7.5 10 bolt correct?

why not just purchase the posi at the same time as the axles allong with an install kit and your done no guessin no screw ups no dirty gear oil to clean up and you know the posi is good???

no what im asking is could i go to a junk yard and get a posi out of a lt1/ls1 camaro and put it in my car, and if it was 28 spline carrier i could get those axles from summit

If you're running a 7.5" rear then yes, it will work. If you have an 8.5" rear then no.
