Rear Main Seal question?

What type of rear main seal will I need for this block???????

Hint: Look closely and compare to your stage II.

Late Stage II Off center as well as all On center blocks take a Big Block Chevy rear main seal.

According to Whitey at Moldex, the crank is machined to a different dimension for a BBC seal too. I had two cranks done at once and he asked which seal would be used for each.

I'm not sure what the difference was... (one crank was mine with a Buick seal and the other was for my friend with a BBC seal). If anybody knows what the difference is, please chime in.

Having never seen a BBC rear main seal, I can't imagine how it's held in place with the usual Buick rear lip gone (so-to-speak).

Looks like I'll have to buy two rear main kits. One BBC for the crank seal, and one Buick for the side seals.
