rebuild time

hey guys look like im gonna pull my engine myself. i cant seem to find anyone willing to do the work and store the vehicle at the shop without towing 4 times. so my question t everyone is any hints on the dos and donts im pretty sure there has been a post like this but i cant find it. im concerned with when im all done setting the timing. i think im gonna start this weekend on pulling the engine and the tranny. so all words of wisdom are appreciated.
