I`m pushing 40,and my kids are 8 and 6 yrs. old, they have plenty of CD`s and their favorite group is Pink Floyd:eek: . I`m looking for a single disc player that will fit in the stock location, not into all the neon lights, thumping bass, ect. Just something that will do a good job and look "Right" with the stock interior. I`m retaining the stock speakers(Concert II), and don`t care if the model is a few years old(I shop on E-bay)
Any info, and or a unit you`d like to sell would be appreciated.

it's hard to find a cd player now that doesn't have some sort of fancy display.. basically the less expensive you get the less lights are going to blink at you on the radio. guess that works out in your favor in this case;)

i talked to several people, some who work at car audio shops, and they all recommended pioneer over other brands.

I have the Pioneer DEH-P77, 1.5 din in my GN, http://www.rcspoolers.com/deck.jpg

I thought about the newer GM Monsoon units, but I don't like how they look with the newer styling and rounded buttons in a 16 yr old car. I like how the Pioneer looks with the grey finsh and the features it has.

HTH,

Ron
