Just wondering if a dig. dash from a Riv. is the same for a Regal? I don't have a dig. dash so I don't know where the boost/tach are located. Found one in the yard and I was going to rescue it, if it's worth anything.

I think they are the same. I have one, but not installed. On a dig. dash, there is only a light on the right which comes on under boost. Anyone have more info?

According to the Buick Regal web site, under part# is claimed that the Riviera and Regal digital dash are the same part #25076576. According to the 1985 Buick factory service manual, shows the same drawing #38C319 for E (Riviera) and G (regal) for the digital dash assembly, also same part # for cluster printed circuit # 25076807, so it looks like they are the same. There are 2 lights, a yellow for low boost, and red for high boost. I have heard that the sensor they are connected to can be adjusted for the lights to come on at a choosen boost level. Mine in an 85 Riviera seem to work fine when engine revved in park, and only yellow comes on at early vacuum when accelerating, plan to get a good boost gauge soon to see where the lights come on, some say they are pretty accurate when calibrated against a known good boost gauge and make for good indicator lights. Everyone has ther opinion on the digital dash, and mine is probably more favored for the standard speedo, the green glare seems loud especially at night, and the power supplies for the burn out, making for no dash at all, although Caspers Electronics can fix and upgrade to read 199 MPH. Did you find a Riviera in a yard and is it a turbo? 1984-1985? I know a few turbo Riviera owners who may be interested to call the yard for turbo Riviera unique parts.
