I was searching for a “tech article” on the other site about head removal but couldn’t find one. Has anyone seen one of these written up? If you have a link could you please post it?

Thanks
Chad

Yup that is where I was looking. As popular as popping head gaskets are I figured someone would have typed one up.

Drain coolant, oil, pull front accessories, turbo, pull plenum, intake, ground wires, etc. It may be easier to unbolt the crossover pipe and pull the exhaust manifolds with the heads- IDK, just thinking out the box.

Thanks. I was curios when you remove the head bolts do you need to do them I any order? Also do you need to loosen each just a bit and work your way around until they are all out?

Be sure to take the rocker shaft off before unbolting the heads, if you don't it's a good way to break the dowel pin off (these pins aligns the heads to the block).
