if you remove trans pan and governor you will be able to use a long punch to drive it out ,but you will probably damage or bend speedo gear

if you can't get it out i have a special tool that pops it right out easily with no problem no matter how tight or rusted it is with no damage------give me a call and perhaps i can loan it to you for a day via UPS...........RC

I had a tough time removing one too. In the end I was able to start rotating it with a pair of vise-grips, which worked it loose and let more pentrant in, but it did some damage to the speedo cable threads. If I had the end of an old speedo cable to thread on first I probably wouldn't have done any damage.

Richard is sending me his tool....and i also ordered a new bullet....

Could you tell me where and how much for the speedo housing?

I think the P/N is 54774, but couldn't find it at bulkpart.

The way I get them out

Vice grips--bees wax and a propane torch--be prepared to replace the bullet.
