Hey guys, I've done some searches on here for info about this... im sure its been discussed to death, but my computer illiteracy prevents me from finding anything helpful on a search:mad:

I just got some gauges for my car, along with the panels they mount in (specifcally a-pillar and the one that fits 2 gauges in the console, under the radio binncale). I didnt think to ask the guy i bought them from what the colors were (live and learn). The console gauge pod is black, which i could live with, and may just leave alone... it doesnt look too bad with the black carpet in my 85. The A-pillar 2-gauge pod on the other hand is a dark burgundy/maroon, which needless to say kinda sticks out in my color scheme. What is the easiest way to repaint these to match the stock grey interior color? Ideally im looking for something from a rattle-can with a pretty close color match that i can get pretty easily (sherwin williams = good, mail order specialty = bad). I'm not looking for top of the line professional results at this time. In a few years when i have a little more time/money to throw at pretty-ing up my car, I'll probably redo them with a full out professional style redo, but if anyone knows a brand/color of rattle can that matches real close that will stick to plastic, or appropriate plastic primer, I'd really appreciate the help!! Thanks!!!

Make shure you clean it with a scuff pad and dish soap in warm water. Let it dry all the way. Put on a good adhishon promotor (bull dog is availabul at automotive paint stores). Then spray on the sem vinal die in light to medium coats 3 or 4 coats should be enough. let it fry at least 12 hrs and install.

You don't want to fry it. Let it DRY naterally. Sorry about that. Somtimes my fingers are to big to hit the right key with out hitting the one next to it. :o

SEM Presido Grey is very close to stock dash color. I did my entire interior with this stuff and it holds up good
