I wouldn't mind seeing no front plates in Maryland, but I can see it now. As soon as you even try to introduce something like this to the legislature, some tree hugger will be standing right there ready to piggy-back some sort of restrictive law like tougher emissions, lower speed limits, no radar detectors, etc.

Think about that one before you go full charge into no front tags. I remember it happening when the speed limits finally went up from 55.
