Replacing idiot light bulbs in dash panel with LED's?

Am in the process of finally installing the last pieces of my GNX dash conversion.
I'm using the VDO gauges from my old AVC (GNX) Style Dash c/w the AVC plug n play wiring harness.

I have a question: I've some LED bulbs for the VDO gauges and will be intalling these. Also am considering installing some LED replacement bulbs for the factory idiot light incandescent bulbs. Will this cause any problems? I'm wondering about not enough load and not charging? Will an in line resistor simulate the load difference and allow charging?

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
