I'm replacing my injectors with the 60# I bought.

Is it necessary to remove the fuel rail, or can the injectors be replaced without removing it?

I've searched & read, but I can't ever tell if it has to be done as a lot of guys are replacing their FPR's and wiring harnesses, etc.

Yes you have to remove the fuel rail to take out the injectors because when fastened down it sandwiches them between the fuel rail and the intake. It's not have to do and after you pull the old ones outmake sure you lube up the new ones on the o-ring so you don't tear one when installing it. Slide them into the rail first then line them up in the holes and silde them down in the intake, refasten and enjoy.

Thanks for the responses. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't making a lot of work for myself.

I do have the proper chip for the 60's. I'm anxious to get these injectors in so I can use the new chip & retire the "Pitbull".
