I know there is a GM authorize shop that makes the trunk sticker as well as the driver door sticker any help would be much appreciated.jim

I think they only deal with collision centers, not the general public (?).

Yep they need an EIN from you and verify that you have a brick and mortar business.

Yea have tried in the past but jerryl is right you have to prove that you are a collision center

I'll give it a try. My car is getting wrapped up at the body shop. I'll let you guys know if I find out anything.

If you have problems I may be able to help. I own a collision center and was planning on getting door stickers for my 86 when I restore it this winter or early spring

I am in if you can help.

let me check into it, I have contacted a couple companies before about current model id tags. Usually they needed a good quality digital picture of the original tag to make the new one. Not sure about restoration tags when there is a not tag to take picture of.

ECS replied back they can only make reproduction stickers if they have a digital photo of the original. Not sure if you have the original sticker yet?

Anyone willing to take and share high def pictures of the ds door stickers?

This is a very difficult situation at best. The oe door stickers have all the legal info that can be used against all of us law abiding folks if reproduced by a shmo. Being a body shop owner and having to replace factory decals with vin info is difficult at best. Few years back saw a fellow gn owner get some really nice door decals done without him even proving he owned the car ! Be very careful as it can be considered a felony.

Anyone make any progress with this issue? I have all the correct RPO codes for my car but am missing the trunk tag. Was removed long ago when previous owner painted car. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
