At this point I haven't had a chance to take a closer look, but I have a tremedous exhaust leak somewhere around the headers/crossover pipe/manifolds. Anyone in the Chicago area that might be able to help me? Specifically, I am currently at the Great Lakes Naval Training center - (Lake County, north of Chicago) Best way to get a hold of me is by cell phone: 919-740-4756 Please check below to see if I have updated my exhaust leak issues!

Check between turbo/header seal. Just put your hand next to it...You will feel it. These manifolds warp and most people put a brass seal between them and that should cure it for a long time.

Hey Greg,
there is a meeting of the local GS club sunday morning at a shop not to far from the base. pretty much all the turbo guru's from the area will be there.
Not saying you could get it fixed there but certainly you could meet the local GN crowd & pic a few brains for help.
Its at Caspers in Mundelein, here's a link from the chicagolandbuick site for ya

Is there still a Metra station up by NTC? I assume there is. If you're still lost next weekend I'll take a spin up there. You'd have to escort me though, I lost my IRR ID card.

I wanted to get myself some good tools, so didn't make it to the auto hobby shop on sunday. The shop is closed mon & tues, so hopefully on wed I'll get it done. I'll let you know!

The manifold installation is finally finished. Actually, I finished it on thursday night. I worked about 1 hour on wed night & finished it thurs night. I think it took me longer than others would take, but I work slowly. Wow, I guess I got use to driving it with the ed header so on the first drive it was quite a change between being comparatively silent and so much more powerful! :D

Thanks again everyone!

I decided to use the "spray-gasket" (copper coating from a spray can)

I can hear a little bit of a leak, but oh well...
