Request for Pics of Turbo Regal Limited's...

Man that is highly optioned. Unfortunately my car has had the sticker removed from the trunk so I have been just reading out here and then checking to see if I have that option. The drivers side door was also replaced so I have no way of verifying what options the car has. I wish they would've kept better track of the options on cars by Vin#. The original seats were pulled but I did receive them so I am hoping that maybe it has a invoicing sheet under the carpet. If not I will never be able to know how it came from the dealer. I am going to have the original seats redone next year or so and then put back in. The goal is to collect emblems and get the car running right this year. Then probably once it is running correctly add Alky system and start working on the interior. Then about 3 years down the line get it repainted and then it should be show worthy. It is a nice driver but I am very picky so I want to restore the car before I start showing it.

Why a Freak ?? First off, it has $6,535 in options, sticker'ing out at $19,268 !!! But its the Combo thats Freakish

What kind of reactions do you get with that oddball? I was wondering about coach lamps, but wasn't sure if that was an option...apparently it is. You sure don't see those very often.
 
No coach lamp option on either the base Regal or the Limited with the black out trim WO2 option. :(

Main reason I didn't order a Limited, I even asked if they could put the chrome ones on one with the black out and they wouldn't even try to order it that way. It priced out at list price of $19.5K.

So I ended up with a WE4 from another dealer.

Limited cars are very nice. :)

Coach lamps were available on WO2 cars.
 
My bad I meant CORNERING Lamps not coach lamps.

The coach lamps were in fact available with the WO2 option.

I won't edit the mistake. ;)

Hey did you recieve all the emblems with the car? I have them ready to put back on. So if you don't have them they are at my parents house somewere! Also i think i have the orginal door in our junk pile at home if you want to check it out.

Actually....the car hasn't made its public debute yet - I just got it late last fall and haven't had the time (or funds) to correct a few things like the brake system

Honestly.....having so many cars is sometimes more of a big chore than a blessing with the upkeep and all. As soon as my '69 Skylark sells I'll have the funds to put into the Limited
 
No I didn't get any of the emblems. I was going to buy new emblems but I would love to have the original emblems. I just didn't want to bother you because your a long distance away. Do you remember if the door has the original stickers still on it? I am getting ready to change the oil in the motor. I finally put 500 miles on the motor. If the weather would cooperate and I get the fuel pump swapped I will drive it a lot more. I am wondering if the fuel pump is cutting out and causing the knock since the boost is low. I hate keeping my foot out of it but I am scared I am going to tear up the new motor if I don't. And I am scheduled to get an alarm installed later this month or early next. Don't want it to disappear.

How are you doing over in Japan? I have been trying to find someone to buy your dad's Cougar but everyone is out of money right now.

My dad is trying to sell the cougar? I need to talk him out of the that! Anyways get ahold of my parents and look in the shop for them. They are all in excellent condition with adhesive on the back of them ready to be applied. Rewire the fuel pump with a hotwire get because it is kinda rigged up. Also after my cousin installed it whenever the tank gets under a 1/4 tank it would cut out. Thats not right and it didn't do that until he installed that pump. I have no idea if the sticker is on that door. Just ask my dad to take a look at it. He won't mind. good luck with everything. Okinawa is awesome and i am having a blast swimming in the ocean here. This place is one of the best diving areas in the world!
 
dfast1 - I will probably call them this weekend. I am working all weekend so I will have to see. I just didn't want to keep bothering your family but I would appreciate getting those.

I got the Rims!

I got a buddy who said to leave the hood alone to lower my chance of having the Limited stolen. I have some work to do. Who has done the turbo swap into a NA Regal? Is it difficult? What kind of time frame am I looking at? Thanks,
