Can I use the stock retainers and keepers while installing new comp 980-12 springs? Or do I need to find new keepers and retainers?

Stock stuff should work. pretty sure 980's are the same OD as stock.

That being said, the rule is to always measure everything yourself.

You will be absolutely fine. I used the same as this when I changed my valve springs a few years ago....no issues at all
