Reverse Lights Come On In Neutral

Ok, I noticed that about 50% of the time, when I shift the car into neutral, the reverse lights would randomly come on (and then when I shift it back into Park and re-shift back to neutral, the reverse lights don't come on again. Also, on rare occasions, the reverse lights don't come on when I shift into Reverse.

Does anyone know what the problem may be? Possibly a bad switch or wiring problem? Thanks!...

You need to adjust the shifter link bar next to the transmission on the driver side.easy fix

If this doesn’t work or you need more adjustment, the switch is under the dash on top the steering column. I believe the switch ratchets clockwise and counterclockwise to adjust.

Our Buick Regals don't have a P/N safety switch for the starter...
