lol.........I learned the other night at the track that I need to buy a bunch of bags of ice and stuff them in the engine bay, slam the hood shut and proceed to race down the track.........

(Ricerdude) "It will give you like a second or something"

This was a "burnout" ricer on some serious meds.

Thought I would share my secret tip.:D

why did you have to spill the beans!!!!!!

i've been doing that for years! i run like 2 seconds faster than the cars right behind me. i don't know why but they always run through some water and can't hook up. one guy got a plastic bag sucked into his motor. funniest thing happens though, EVER time i make a pass like that, someone steals my ice and bag before i can open my hood. its just gone, out of nowhere.

i can see it in the staging lanes or pits but down the track...

i was told today by my ricer coworker that if i don't wear any shoes i can go faster. he said it would probably be worth a tenth or two.

Its funny watching cars with ice packed all over their compartments trying to run. They run, they drip, they soak the track, they spin the whole way. Nice way to add power and lose time. :D

Isn't that what the cowl hood is for? To pack more bags of ice under there? :D

Just don't forget to take the cigarette lighter out, the weight savings are worth at least another 2 tenths......

and who can forget big smokey burnouts with radials. in the water box. when your running 18's you need all the traction you can get.

seriously some of these guys smoke their little tires more than john force. not to change the subject but i was at the mile high nationals and john force did a burnout just as long as everyone elses. talk about a disapointment. it makes more sence to do a short one and save the clutches(I got ahold of a few of the clutches, have no idea what i'm going to do with them, but i have parts off a 4 sec. car.), but i stuck around to see him do a burnout.
