I've seen this more and more often lately. Ricers driving around with the shoe polish numbers written on their windows. I know the closest track is Island and I know they only run Friday night and Sat-Sundays. Today, Friday AM, I saw another one so the numbers have had to have been on there almost a full week at least. A dropped, ground fx'd fart muffler'd "VTEC" badged Integra. I don't think it was really a VTEC because I could hang with him in my Century.

Do they think that people will be skeered because they have numbers on their windows? Like any doofus with $25 couldn't show up and race their cars?

I find it more annoying than any other ricer "mod" to date. Maybe even more so than the tailpipe whistle. Not sure.

They made it illegal to drive around with the numbers on the windows, thank god.

I forgot thats in Penssylvania.

Probably a matter of time here, too. I'm not sure what good it would do. The window tint, clear bulbs, blue headlights, smoked taillight covers and smoked license plate cover on this car were all illegal, too.

They made that ILLEGAL?? I'm sorry, but that's stupid. Yes, I agree the ricers driving around with them are pretty lame, but to actually make a LAW saying that's illegal?? That's sad. I'm sure it simply falls under some other law like having stickers on the windows and such. But c'mon. I'm gonna be REAL pissed if I'm driving home from the track and the fact that I chose to race where it is legal and safe, I get a TICKET because I haven't washed the numbers off yet. Next it'll be the newleywed <sp> couple just leaving the church getting a ticket for having "JUST MARRIED" across the back. SAD.

Hey my numbers are still there from the last time I went to the track...That was about a month ago...I'm lazy.

Also People are more interested in a car with numbers, my car is grandpa car extreme but people will actually try to race if they think I race it.

First chance I get on the way back from the track, I take the numbers off. Like to keep people guessing. :)

A low 10 dial on the glass keeps alot of guys from bothering me on the ride home. Keeps the kids with wings in there place and they know if they pass me its because i let them

Okay, then. My complaint is hereby withdrawn. If I had a 10-second car I'd NEVER wash the numbers off the windows (and thus wouldn't blame a "ricer" for doing the same).

I kinda use the numbers to my advantage.. Even if I dont go to the track but am feeling ornery I'll write a fairly slow number on the windows and just go drive around on a nice evening where the rice crowd hangs out. It never fails that they see the "dial in" and think "hey, we're quicker than that so lets guy tear this guy in the mini truck up".

I can make an easy 100 bucks in no time.

Anyway, back on the subject... I see it here too and its pretty funny to see some winged wonder flaunting a 13 sec dial in when ALL the tracks around here are 1/8th mile. Im sorry but I wouldnt be too proud of a 13 second 1/8th mile time unless I was driving a semi truck.....loaded ;)

Good gawd I love that stuff. Now that summer's here I'm drooling in anticipation to see these modded ricers come out of the woodwork. It'll be another great year for traffic tickets! :D In a strange sort of way it stinks I miss out on the silly colored lights since I work dayshift. It was hilarous when they'd flip off their blue, green or red lights when you spun around on'em :) :D :p.
