I wish he would would of used a 4" cold air kit with the bends in it to see how much if any effect their is??

That is the biggest damn ceiling fan I have ever seen in a shop........

Yeah, it's called a "Big-Ass Fan". Really, check it out.

Richard has one in each of 3 buildings there. One fan can blow papers off the desks if you turn it up.

Always a conversation piece!

Aah, you checked me out  Did you see the cidada eating party? Now that was a bit over the top...

Air Flow

Thanks for posting that you tube video, Its really cool to see how the airflow changes with different combo of inlet size pipes. Wouldve also liked to see what the LS1 mass wouldve flowed with the same pipes.. And a 3.5 - 4 inch tube.

Richard has done all those.

Perhaps he will post with some more data.

I find it interesting that the two k and n air filters made no difference in flow between them. I also would like to see the difference in the bigger maf sensor with a 4 inch pipe.

The smaller cone must have already had an equal or greater flow capacity than the pipe, so the bigger one would have made no difference with that size pipe.

JUST a dumb ??? rich said with out the mass air on it would realy pick up now if i install a fast fxi then i can remove my mass air and it will flow like crazy right or wrong if right then more cfm's more power yes or no ???? thanks for posting, little things like this can add up.

Hmm, no one cared to try to explain why adding a filter to the fixed bent pipe actually added CFM over just a MAF with no filter...like an extra 15 or so CFM?
Anyone else notice that?
