Richie qualified 5th in Limited Street with a 5.07 @143mph pass (also saw he ran a 5.06 @142mph)... Not bad for the little V6 competing against the big cube nitrous V8 cars!!!

I hope Dusty gets us some pics!!!

When Richie gets his 4.9 that is going to be nice!!!

Well I'm home and Richie's headed home : ( Never had the chance to talk to him but he put on a good show and put a couple cars on the trailer. Saw him go a couple low 5 teens and then got put out in the semi's I think. Have some pics but can't post up till tomorrow. Great all around race. Had the pleasure of seeing several Limited and EZ Street turbo stangs put it on the bumper. Scott

Yeah I saw on limitedstreet.com that Richie went out in the 4th round of eliminations with a 5.09 to Evert's 5.06.... Congrats to Richie for fighting the good fight against those Big block bullies!

What a long weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a blast this weekend but it was to much driving for me and to much work for my dad. We both went to work last thrus. and at 7 oclock that night we drove to huntsville and was sitting at the gate at 7:30 friday moring waiting to get in. Off the trailer we went a 5.15 on M/H's 30x 10.5 then put on a new set of hoosier tires that I had made with a real stiff sidewall but went into tire shake. They still need to have tubes in them and I didn't have a thrid set of tubes to use. the thrid pass we put on some used M/T 29.5x10.5 non W and run another 5.15. Got to bed about 12:30 that night and got up at 7:30 sat moring and set around most of the day the weather was bad got one pass that morning and the car did a wheel stand and had to pat the gas and ran a 5.33. We finally made a qual. pass at 8.30 that night and went a 5.07@142.7 then came back at about 11.30 on a wet track and went a 5.06@143.4 It shook the tire at about the 80ft and move the car to the center but I road the line on out. Then sunday first round I took some power out of it to be safe and ran a 5.13 the next pass ran a 5.12. the air was not as good as sat. night but I but the power back just like the .06 pass. Went out and red let ran a 5.09 to his 5.06 and he had a .044 light, so he left me enough room to win but had .013 red. All I needed was a normal light for me and I could have won. but not enough sleep played apart in this weekend for sure. Then we loaded up left the track at 7:30 and pulled in to my drive at 8:am today. so out of about 120hrs I had about 18-19 hrs sleep. Good to meet some of you and thanks for all the words.
