Thats cool to see one of my life long friends there in the pics with his purple Camaro. Thats him at the starting line next to the car, Terry is the driver of it still.
Dang, I can't wait to get back home!

he ran his best times that weekend also 5.03 I think is the best. most of the time he's in the .20's

Thanks for making the trip to H'ville for the race Richie. I hated it ended like it did, I knew you wasn't red by much.

I have to say it's the most impressive L/S car in the country. To go 5.0's with the V6 is incredible and to qualify so well in the V8 world is something to be proud of. I can't even remember how many phone calls I had at the house since Sunday night with questions about this car.

It was nice meeting Richie and I hope his luck gets better.

Go here for a link to some great event photos.. Check out some of the wheelstands.. Especially the yellow chevy II wagon!!

How did you like the pics of the red Monte with the rear end coming out from under it? This is what happens when you try and run the lightweight adjustable control arms from a round track car. It broke 3 of the 4 control arms.

I've seen that happen once down here with a Chevelle at my local track on one of the Outlaw days... Guy got out of the car and was like "Something let go huh?"

Not to be counted out though, he had his new control arms at his house so he picked them up on the way to the shop. Fixed the car that night and came back and qualified 1st with a 5.40 the next day. He is definately a hard worker because just last week he burnt almost all of the pistons out of his SB2 N20 motor and repaired it in a few days. He made it to the finals but a low battery kept him from winning. When the N20 came on the car popped pretty bad and he let out.

Richie, I must say you have one awesome car. One of my buddy's (owner of atlanta speed shop) was very impressed with you car he just could not believe that was a v6 doing those times until he heard it run (then he could tell it was no v8). He said you must have a mocked up v6 made out of cardboard covering a v8, just so it looks like a 6 banger, LOL. very impressive car representing for the turbo buick community.

In car video is up

You can go to limitedstreet.com or try the link below. I don't want to be bashed about the title he put on there I know I'm not the fastest out there. But if only they would have a steel body 3000 lb class that runs on 10.5 W's or not at BG than maybe I would come up there and we can find out.
Nice to meet you Dusty and thanks everyone for the complements.http://www.limitedstreet.com/yabbse/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=271

Wow definitely sounds like a hard worker... Maybe he should think about turboing his SB2 so he doesn't have to worry about burnt pistons!

Richie, That was an awesome In-Car vid! I think you are definitely the fastest V6 Buick on 10.5s (true or W) at 3000lbs... The only other car I can think of that might give you some competition is the White Racing car... I think it's also safe to say you easily have one of, if not the most impressive LS cars running consistent 5.0's with the V6!!! Just plain sick:eek:
