Who cares?? I do when I'm racing against them. There again you have to be a racer in the heads up stuff other than test and tune or a bracket start were the v8 come's from behind.
The only kind of racing is first to the finish WIN'S.

You race with what you have and don't complain about if you get beat. You just go home work harder with what you have or you step up and buy somthing else that is faster.

That comment was aimed at dave, And 8.57 is just what it is, No such thing as IF (the weight wasnt there)! IF the weight wasnt in your car ud have a 8sec car, if the weight wasnt in my 109 blocked car id have a 8sec car and so on! We can do this all day!

The bottom line is david has a problem with Whiteracing(I would too if i had the same problem he did with those guys) And thats no reason to call me out! HE ACTS LIKE HE WANTS TO PROVE TO ME WHOS THE BETTER ENGINE BUILDER BY RACING!( i may be wrong if so my appoligies) I took that as a direct attack! IF THATS THE CASE I HAVE NO PROBLEM RACING HIM HEADS UP! JUST DONT TELL ME WHAT CAR TO BRING!

Ted,That car has been around the better part of 15yrs going fast! I was one of the first to speak up for Daves car when they got it running good because i knew the long road it took to get there! And just to let u know WE went 8.52@157mph the first day out with a single turbo S2 then a month later ripped the single off and replaced it with twins!

I like fast cars period. Obviously I am a little partial to stage powered cars, but if you have a 6 flat pro-mod, I dig that also. It is extremely hard to fund one of these cars. Single or twins, either way, when you get to that high of a performance level, 1200 and above hp, you more than likely have about 60 to 130k in your car. I have met more than one a$$hole with a screaming-fast ride, they still suck...

I should have put in a few of these in my last post.

I wasn't calling you out, just didn't want anyone to be misinformed on who the quality engine builders are in the Buick community.

As for racing our old twin turbo car the new owner is making some changes he should have it at the nats. I am sure he would be up for a Mustang vs Gn showdown at Bowling Green.

I prefer racing in a class where everyone plays by the same set of rules weight, turbo size, cubic inch limit, tire size, etc.

Going fast by making big power is more impressive to me than just gutting a car to 2800 lbs and throwing down a number but thats just my opinion.

Since you know the guys at White Racing maybe you can find out who has that Ligenfelter twin turbo, V-8, AWD S-10.
Let them know we have a little V6, single turbo, AWD Syclone powered by DLS we want to show them.

My buddy told me i was totally wrong for trying to race your GN with my ford (its to much 4 a 8.50 car) And u guys would have to get past his twin national first!LOL ill be at the BG NATS to spectate hope to see u there!

Dan White made some changes to the truck after his partner Melvin Reed purcased it from John lingenfelter and got the hp up from 700 to 1300 with bigger turbos and FAST SYS!
