Like I stated, when I asked my tech friends as GM dealerships, they told me it was not necessary to use the posi additive. We never needed to use it as when the GN's were new, chatter was not a problem.

When we went to spools in the race cars, chatter was not an issue!

What was an issue however, was extreme wear on the gears do to high loads, especially from starting line launches. At that point, we found using Amsoil gear lube worked best.

How well it works in a posi unit, I cannot say as I do not have personal experience using synthetic fluid in one?

But logic says if you have street GN, and the rear end chatters, adding posi lube will cure that, and will lessen the effectiveness of its performance.
