Yup. Silly but worth the laughs. I could never figure out why the professor could rig the radio to work...

Yeah, the professor could rig up anything to work....but I've always wondered why he could never rig up the boat engine to get off the island? Could it have been a Ford 5.0?:D

Bit of coincidence....Rusell Johnson - Professor was a classmate of my Dads in Girard College in Philadelphia which was a school for fatherless boys from age 7 thru high school.

That' pretty cool, Dennis.......man, your Dad had a lot of interesting things happening to him during his long life......you've got a very interesting family history.....keep sharing...I like hearing things like this.

Only thing I can say about ours, is we lived down the street from Dr. Werner Von Braun.....I delivered "The Washington Post" to him.....he had his own private observatory out in his back yard.....now that was really cool......it's still there to this day.........when Mr. Braun died in 1977 I was in the same hospital about a week later with a dangerous staph infection , I had the nurse, who catered to him during his whole stay...... who told me all kinds of things about him.......it was an interesting stay for me.....she even told me how to locate his grave in Ivy Hill Cemetery, in Alexandria, Va, as the family didn't want a tombstone for a very long time......there is one there now........

Life is so interesting at times and it still fascinated me. Thanks for sharing.
