Saw that you called. By your last post, sounds like you got it figured out. Let me know if you still need a hand.

Wow that looks great, is that the RJC pipe? Also, looks like you lost your translator turbo-6 cover somewhere between pics 1 and 2 :p

yes, thats the first RJC 4inch maf pipe ever produced.. it came off his personal car.. Fits perfect

RJC 4" Pipe

Phil-

I just bought the RJC 4" pipe at the Nationals. Couple Questions for you

1. I'm changing to the base translator set up with Z06 MAF and going to use a turbo tweak chip for my 50LB injectors.-I'm currently running the MaxEffort 16 POS thumbwheel with a stock MAF. Will I have to cut the RJC pipe at all to make it fit as pictured on your car?

2. What part number is the air filter you used?
3. Where did you get the adapter hoses on the z06 MAF side? they look like 4-3-1/2?

4. My turbo is a PTE 6152 with a 3" inlet so I have to run an adapter 3"-4" and was wondering if you saw any performance gain once you put this on?

yes you will have to trim it a little
i saw a gain but my turbo had the 4inch inlet
I ordered the 4inch inlet air filter that full throttle has on there site
Im looking to see where i found that adapter hose i needed to make it fit,it was an odd size

I was searching for MAF options other then stock I was looking in to possibly going to the LS1 or a speed density system when I seen this thread. It looks like this is the way to go. I have a TR customs 3in MAF pipe and cold air kit and would like to avoid getting a new MAF pipe if possible would it be ok to go from my 3in pipe to the 3.75 of the LS6 or should I replace the pipe with a 3.5 or 4in pipe I would just hate to spend 100 for a new pipe if I can use what I have.
Could some one measure the length of the LS6 MAF if I don’t have enough pipe to play with to make up for the longer stock MAF sensor I may need to get a new pipe any way.

will this one work??

Phil-

1 2002 z06 85mm gm p/n 25341604

will this one work? found on GM parts direct ...the other one you listed is discontinued. I would like to get new.

Joe

So with the Z06 and 4" pipe, Are you guys see an increase in boost without changing anything?
