Check the date on the sealer to make sure its not expired. Depending on what sealer he's using, one of them gets kind of funky when it gets old.

Sealer is cheap tho.. at least it used to be. If its expired, dont let that stop you from buying his kit. PM me and Ill tell you where to get another tube.
