Thanks, let me see if I can find out some information. I thing I won't be running a Trans brake, but the weight of my concerns me, its about 3800 with me in it.

if your build is in you sig......
you need some axles/ u joints/ rear girdle.
I never use a trans brake (unless its race ONLY)
as its way to harsh on everything.
I know , there are some that do, but for how long?

Did you have these axles in your car? Did you buy them new? How old are they?

Thanks,

John V.

they were in a friends car, very little use, they are approx 2-3 yrs old.
he bought them from Moser.

I have Splicer u joints and an Auburn POSI, with stock driveshaft and axles. First time someone has mentioned a rear girdle.

Thanks for posting the pictures, but I'm going to pass for now because I may change my posi and it might have a different spline count. I'm thinking of a Detroit Locker.

With shipping its only 8 dollars more to buy new. Would he consider 220 shipped? If not it would be better to sell locally.

Thanks,
