Blew a head gasket the other day. I pulled it apart and it was blown pretty badly on the # 6 cylinder. Had heads checked and they're fine. Was told to pull the oil pan and there was a lot of debris in the oil screen which mashes so I guess it's the head gasket material.
I decided to pull the rod cap on # 6 and the top bearing is down to the copper and the bottom is showing a little copper. The crank looks and "feels" fine.
Should I go ahead and pull her out?\
TIA
