Does anyone make good rods either 6.0825" or 6.195" in length? The reason im asking is cause i have a nice set of forged diamond pistons with a PCH of 1.640" and i figure i would need a set of one of the rods either for a 3.400" crank or a 3.625" crank. Or even a 6.10" rod would work with a 3.590" crank.

a 6.350 rod is for a 3.625 or dending on your pin location of the piston you buy or have bud

Isn't a BBC rod somewhere close to 6.195? Of course then you would have to turn the crank about .050 to make them work but it might be an option. Just checked, BBC rods are either 6.135 or 6.385. I was remembering 6.185 and 6.335.

Thanks for your input- i have 8 new forged diamond pistons with a 1.640" comp height and a 4.00" bore that i was hoping to use on a 4.1 build -i guess i will put them up for sale. maybe for chevies.

Either chevys or ford pistons. I just orderd my 6.5 rods and with stock stroke my pch is 1.36. In the neiborhood for a 4" bore set up but I havent found the pistons yet. Probly have to have them made.

Rods odd ball lengths.

Another option is that K1 will do you a set of custom length rods for our motors, PM me and I will tell you the price I was quoted.

9sec.

There is one other option. Full throttle has 6.35" rods for aroud 550 which would bring your pch down to about 1.5 which is doable for a chevy piston.
